Social Media Ethics Project - This project examines the ethical and legal implications of unauthorized use of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), focusing on the O’Bannon v. NCAA case (2009). Ed O’Bannon, a former UCLA basketball player, discovered that his likeness was used in an NCAA video game without his consent or compensation, leading him to sue the NCAA, Electronic Arts (EA), and the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) for violating antitrust laws.
