As a Media Sales Intern at Naylor Associate Solutions, I gained hands-on experience in B2B advertising sales, working with industry-leading publications to connect businesses with their target audiences. My role involved lead generation, client outreach, and sales support, where I developed skills in pitching, negotiation, and CRM management using Salesforce.
Throughout my internship, I collaborated with senior sales representatives to refine advertising strategies, assisted in closing deals, and contributed to the creation of marketing materials. One of the most valuable aspects of the festival was gaining insight into emerging trends in media, storytelling, and digital innovation. This experience solidified my drive to pursue a career in media sales and advertising strategy.

From Age 15-22
Starting at 15 years old, I worked my way up in the restaurant industry, beginning as a food runner, busser, and barback, and eventually becoming a server, bartender, and even briefly a restaurant manager. Balancing full-time work while attending the University of Florida, I used this experience to financially support myself through school while developing strong customer service, sales, and leadership skills.
Working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments taught me adaptability, problem-solving, and relationship-building—all crucial skills that translate directly to media sales. Whether upselling drinks behind the bar or managing private events, I learned how to engage customers, anticipate needs, and drive revenue, making this experience a key part of my professional development.
